Mohamed Elagiry (1984) is a professional architect and engineer with 15 years of experience in architectural design, BIM & Design Management and sustainable design. Mohamed has a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering and a master's degree in building engineering. From various organizations within and outside Europe, Mohamed has worked on a wide range of projects around the world, including high-rise and large-scale construction projects. In Italy, Mohamed has worked as an R&D project manager on many H2020 projects and proposals. In addition, there he led the Consultancy and Digitization of Construction activities and managed the activities related to building performance analysis, energy modelling, daylight simulation and CFD analysis. Mohamed works at DEMO as Senior Researcher / Business Developer and he is involved in initiating, coordinating and participating in European and national research projects. In addition, he fulfills a role as Business Consultant to link research and advisory activities and supports the advisory team, among other things, with real estate data collection in the form of “Scan to BIM”.
