Enginency

Toolset to improve energy efficiency of built environment

DEMO has been participating in the EU Project Enginency (EU Horizon2020) throughout its two-year time, starting in summer 2016. A tool set was created to improve energy efficiency of built environments.
In a consortium of four European partners, we were committed to marketing innovative hardware and software from EU research. In particular, techniques for simulation, inspection and monitoring of building energy performance by means of drones, sensors, building management systems and of course software tools such as RE Suite of DEMO.
The Enginency project has made a major contribution to the energy efficiency of buildings and small neighbourhoods through new tools and methods of inspection, modelling, monitoring, simulation. Enginency will help to drastically improve the energy efficiency of buildings, in the technical, economic and social fields, and to reduce CO2 emissions. The Enginency project focused on both new and existing buildings. Enginency's results support sustainability managers through the integration of energy audits with a comprehensive toolset to inspect, measure, and control buildings.
