Marije Voskuijl (1975) is Associated Consultant/Fire Safety Advisor for DEMO Consultants.
She studied civil engineering and has several years of experience as a construction project manager. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in fire safety in buildings, including renovations, existing buildings, and new construction. In her projects, she works fundamentally with the regulations of the Buildings and Living Environment Decree (Bbl), always focusing on the client's needs.
She has experience with building plan reviews, fire safety inspections, conducting inspections, quality assurance, and advising on construction plans from draft design to completion. She is knowledgeable about the working methods of the competent authorities regarding fire safety (permitting, enforcement, and supervision). Marije is a valuable liaison for complex issues involving, among others, the fire department, the municipality, building owners, architects, contractors, and quality assurance providers.
With this knowledge, she also acts as an auditor for the Quality Assurance Act in her specialty of fire safety.
