Researcher

Fatemeh Asgharzadeh (1990) is a researcher at DEMO Consultants with a background in civil engineering and architecture. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran (2014), and a Master's degree in Construction Management and Engineering from TU Delft in Delft, Netherlands (2019). She has worked as an architectural designer on different buildings and building complexes in Iran. Also, she has worked as a project manager in EPCM contracts in the Netherlands. In her Master's thesis, she has worked on implementation of BIM for circular economy in the built environment. Currently at DEMO, she is mainly working on two EU research projects, namely easySRI, and Reincarnate. easySRI aims to facilitate the implementation of Smart Readiness Indicator in the built environment, and Reincarnate aims to decrease construction and demolition waste by extending the lifetime of buildings and reusing building components and materials.
