DEMO conducts research for the European Union, research institutes and government agencies. Much research focuses on sustainable development, energy saving and the combination of technologies with socioeconomic factors.
Usually, for large-scale research, universities and colleagues-consultants work together within a research consortium. DEMO has extensive experience with the European Union Framework Programs and with Dutch research projects, financed from the government's top sectoral policy (TKI).

Mobistyle As a consortium partner, we kicked off the EU Mobistyle project (EU Horizon2020) at the end of 2016. The overall aim of MOBISTYLE is to raise consumer awareness and motivate behavioural change by providing attractive personalized combined knowledge services on energy use, indoor environment, health and lifestyle, by ICT-based solutions. Enginency DEMO has participated since the summer of 2016 to the EU project Engenency (EU Horizon2020). Within this two-year project, a tool-set to improve buildings and small districts energy efficiency through integrated new tools and methodologies of inspection, modelling, monitoring, simulation, management and refurbishment advising will be commercialized. P2Endure On September 1st, 2016, we started with the project coordination of P2ENDURE, a major EU project within the EU Horizon2020 program. P2Endure promotes Plug and Play product and process innovation solutions for large-scale deep renovation for drastically improving energy efficiency. Insiter Since 1st of December 2014, we have been coordinated the Insiter project, a major EU project within the EU Horizon2020 program. Insiter is a research project for intuitive self-inspection techniques for construction, renovation and maintenance. Streamer A research project is focused on energy efficient buildings (EeB) aiming at reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions by 50% over the next 10 years from new and renovated buildings in healthcare districts in the EU. V-con In the context of a European cooperation project called Virtual Construction for Roads, Rijkswaterstaat and Trafikverket, together with two major knowledge institutions, TNO and CSTB organized a pre-commercial tender for the development of an innovative software solution. Read more here.
