Oana Schippers-Trifan (1985) is working at DEMO as a consultant and coordinator of European Horizon2020 research projects and is mainly concerned with project management, coordination and implementation of administrative, advisory and communication activities. Oana achieved her bachelor degree in Journalism and Mass Communication Studies at the University of Bucharest and she completed two master studies at the University of Amsterdam in Communication Studies (MSc) and European Studies (MScRes). At DEMO she coordinates digital content for various media and her strength lies in generating engagement. In addition, Oana is an important link in the extensive EU research projects that DEMO carries out together with other leading international partners. These projects often relate to themes such as sustainable development, energy saving and the combination of technology with socio-economic factors such as cultural heritage. She arranges and coordinates multi-year research projects from A to Z and organizes the information flows of all project partners and scientists for accountability to the EU.
